2017 starts with a legend

An endless source of inspiration for countless climbers, I decided to give my spin on Lynn Hill. Her book was one of the first climbing/adventure autobiographies that I read upon entering this sport. I’ll admit that I didn’t know at the time what half of the climbing terms meant, but that didn’t stop me from jumping head first into the addiction (obsession). From an artistic standpoint, this piece presented more challenges that I expected. I’m not entirely sure that I spent enough time on it, as parts of the composition seem to blend together. I’ll have to do another rendering at a later date in order to feel complete.
