With this piece I decided that I should try and broaden my horizons and get out of my comfort zone. Being partial to black & white certainly leads itself to a narrow focus and I feel comfortable with my current progression, so why not step outside and experiment? I’ve been stumped by pointillism in the past, and as a result I think my easy way out is stippling. This is a great example of my ability to get frustrated, try shortcuts, and lose sight of the original goal. Never stop learning…
