I was wanting to draw a Utah landmark for some time. The seed was planted and Delicate Arch grew out of it. Knowing how fragile the desert sandstone is, I felt that the most visually appropriate way to represent the texture was though keeping with a small diameter Micron pen and just spending more time than usual with stippling. Probably my best use of the technique as of this piece.
