A close friend of mine recently suggested that I take a look into wood burning. Pyrography, to be more precise. He is a staunch enthusiast of all things wooden and handmade, so seeing some of my work left him wondering how well it would translate. His thought process was something along the lines of a design placed on a headboard. So, with that in mind, I hit the craft store and picked up some supplies. After scouring the internet for something that I felt could render well that I hadn’t seen finished much, I picked something out and went to work. I don’t think that it turned out too bad considering it was meant to be a proof of concept.
