Over the past few years I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting new people from all walks of life. Different backgrounds, different ages, different stories. Everyone has something to contribute in their own unique way. Intellect, interests, activities, entertainment, experiences, the list goes on and on. A couple of years ago I went skydiving again and had the opportunity to meet several at the local drop zone who happened to share an interest in climbing. I’ll never be a solo skydiver (weak eardrums absolutely SUCK) but that hasn’t stopped me from forming some strong friendships in that community.
On that random (cold) day in mid-May, I met a woman who caught my attention by mentioning the name of an adventure celebrity. “Steph Davis? Oh, hell yeah, she’s amazing. One of my friends has actually BASE jumped with her.. totally jealous!” BOOM.. the conversation started rolling and hasn’t seemed to let up.
Sarah Frisbie is a force to be reckoned with. Career woman, amazing mother, skydiver/wingsuit flyer, and best of all: CLIMBER! Despite her growing list of personal accomplishments, she is incredibly humble when learning new skills and always attentive to detail, yet assertive when necessary (she won’t hesitate to call you out if you are putting someone in harms way.)
