This woman. She is the definition of how to live life. She has raised a family of climbers, skiers, hikers, mountain bikers, and (simply) outdoor adventure enthusiasts.
I first met Patti when I was starting to get into the local climbing scene. That summer, she organized several weekend guided trips through the local meetup that partnered with the local guide service in the Red River Gorge. K.R.A.G. was where I got my introduction to planting trad gear, learning ropes safety, and helping me get out of my shell of experience anxiety.
She is a regular fixture at RockQuest and down at the Red. Everyone either knows Patti, or knows one of her kids. Truly one of the more positive and enthusiastic groups that I have had the privilege to call friends.
