Few of us will ever experience a life like that of Ueli Steck. I first noticed his accolades in 2014 and I was immediately hooked. From the his mountaineering exploits and speed records on the Eiger, to his big wall speed attempts with Alex Honnold on the Nose (El Cap), he genuinely seemed to appreciate living his life to the fullest. It is with that passion and energy that those around me all to the collective fire and keep pushing the envelope with our own accomplishments, albeit quite minor in humble comparison. Going above and beyond while the rest of the world watches in awe. RIP, sir, you will be missed.
